Jomas Associates ended 2019 celebrating another successful year in business as we reached our 10 year anniversary. We now start a new decade with this exceptional feature from Construction News '10 people to watch in 2020'. Jomas Associates founder and MD Roni Savage has been recognised in the article, alongside other inspirational leaders from across the industry, as an individual to watch in 2020. Described as 'Key leaders who are sure to emerge and pave the way for the industry to follow' our award winning MD has been celebrated for her successes alongside other prominent industry leaders. They include Liz Peace of Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, Amanda Fisher, CEO of Amey, Zoe Price COO of ISG UK Construction, Bill Hocking, currently CEO of Galliford Try Construction, Andrew Davies CEO at Kier, Alex Vaughan SEO of Costain, Joseph Daniels, CEO of Project Etopia, Mike Brown, Chair of the Parliament Restoration Body (former TFL boss) and Greta Thunberg, the environmental activist.
Roni was recognised for her work inspiring others to make construction a more inclusive industry when she won the Inspire Me Award at the 2019 Construction News (CN) Talent Awards. This award was hot on the heels of Roni having accepted the exceptional Presidential Invitation to the Fellowship of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE). We are exceptionally proud to start the year with our MD being celebrated alongside such outstanding leaders and businesses in the industry, and we will be following their journeys as we head into 2020. Jomas provide engineering and environmental consultancy, including undertaking site investigations, land contamination assessments and remediation, as well as geotechnical surveys, to inform and facilitate land development on construction sites across the UK.
